FunJoyment groups use the Guiding Toward Growth principles. The goal is to provide structured experiences that allow an individual with ASD to slowly and confidently increase his/her skill and confidence in navigating the exciting but confusing social world that surrounds them.
These groups were developed, and then enhanced, over the thirty years that John has worked with young people with ASD.
John has both led groups and trained staff at many Twin City school districts and charter schools. John can provide direct leadership or train school staff to provide these groups for students in kindergarten through Transition programs.
John is providing community-based groups for young people in the late afternoon and evening in a number of Twin City communities.
